I know there are probably a few LearnHubbers here with Liberal Arts degrees, or those who have taken liberal arts in the past.
I’m curious to know, what have you learned from your liberal arts experiences? Have you found that this has helped you in your career or achieve things you’d like to accomplish?
What have you taken and how has it gotten you to where you are now?

Thanks for sharing Heather! I have to agree that a liberal arts degree has so far, given me many opportunities relating to my varied interests as well.
Being a student of communication studies and film studies, there is much to learn and explore while improving my written communication, problem solving, teamwork as well as spoken communication in the form of presentations and student led seminars.
Interdisciplinary education is really put into motion when you are able to take a wide variety of courses and you’re not limited to one path. Liberal Arts have allowed me to explore outside of my double major to learn about other interests while still earning credit. Most of this happened in first year where I was able to take courses like World Issues, Language and Literature, Love and its Myth as well as Philosophy. The choices are really endless when given so much opportunity.
